Hello, I am Hypnotherapist Anthony Torres. I created ClinicalHypnosisLA.com with a clear purpose: to help provide focused, results-driven support for individuals struggling with anxiety and sleep challenges—two of the most common and disruptive conditions affecting both mental, emotional, and physical well-being today.

While the work is now highly specialized, it was not always that way.

The foundation of my professional practice was built over my first ten years as a general clinical hypnotherapy practice, working across a wide range of issues. Through that process, clear patterns began to emerge. Regardless of the presenting issue, anxiety and disrupted sleep were almost always present beneath the surface—either as primary conditions or as underlying drivers that made other challenges more difficult to resolve.

Over time, the work naturally evolved into a more focused approach.

By concentrating specifically on anxiety—and more precisely, the subconscious patterns that sustain it—the results became more consistent, more efficient, and more measurable. The same was true for sleep. Rather than treating insomnia as an isolated issue, the work shifted toward addressing the conditioned mental and physiological responses that prevent the body from downregulating at night.

Within anxiety, a specialized emphasis is placed on fertility-related stress. The emotional intensity, uncertainty, and cyclical nature of the fertility journey can create deeply ingrained patterns of tension, anticipation, and fear within the subconscious mind. These patterns often persist even when someone is doing everything “right” medically, making it essential to address the internal environment alongside any external treatment.

Hypnotherapy as I practice it is a structured, repeatable process that works with the law of repetition to help recondition automatic responses, reduce heightened stress patterns, and restore a more stable internal baseline.

As a 15-year clinical hypnotherapist, I bring a vast body of experience—over 10,000 sessions—into my hypnotherapeutic model and programs, all of which are now intentionally streamlined around these core areas of targeted anxiety and sleep improvement. As a former instructor at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI), the first nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy in the United States, my approach reflects both some of the highest levels of formal training and extensive real-world application.

The intention behind this site is twofold:

• To give individuals a clear, grounded path toward reducing anxiety and improving sleep in a way that feels structured, safe, and effective
• To provide healthcare professionals and facilities with a reliable adjunctive resource for patients whose symptoms are strongly influenced by stress, conditioning, and subconscious behavioral patterns

At its core, my work is about restoring balance to the mind-body system—mentally, emotionally, and physiologically—by working directly with the part of the mind where these patterns are formed and maintained.
