Improving Sleep with Hypnotherapy

Improving Sleep with Hypnotherapy

Most my clients who struggle with sleep are not lacking the ability to sleep — they are dealing with a system that has learned to stay alert or that has created the incorrect associations to the sleep state.

Over time, stress, overthinking, and repeated nights of poor sleep can condition the mind and body into a pattern where bedtime itself becomes associated with dread, worry or tension.

I work with my clients to help reverse that pattern completely and establish a relationship to the sleep process that is healthy and in tune with the body’s natural cycle of sleep and restoration.

Through hypnotherapy, we calm the underlying nervous system activity and reduce the active mental force and momentum that keeps the mind active at night. As the subconscious mind begins to settle, the body naturally follows.

Once sleep has become compromised, in their frustration and desire to solve the problem, people begin trying to force sleep through voluntary desire and effort, which furthers the problem - your mind-body’s ability to sleep naturally doesn’t come by trying harder to relax.
My hypnotherapeutic program for sleep accomplishes removing the internal resistances, negative associations, and subconscious wiring that’s keeping the system awake.

I work with clients to reduce racing thoughts, ease sleep-related anxiety, and re-establish a more natural relationship with rest. I’d be honored to work with you. If you’d like to explore working together, please visit the Services page for session options.
